Are you interested in learning how to use your Canon, Nikon, Sony or Pentax Digital SLR camera? Whether you want to take better photos of your kids, while on vacation or just improve your over-all photography, we have a photography class for you – How to Take Creative Control of Your Digital SLR Camera. We offer Photography for beginners both online and in the studio location in Duluth. The online course is fully interactive, has no expiration dates and you can work at your own pace. The studio course is offered on Saturdays from January – August 2016.
The course is taught by by Mary Buck, the artistic mind behind Lightscapes Photographic Artwork. You will learn how to use the manual controls of your digital SLR camera. The lessons are divided into 13 chapters, each of which focuses on only one topic. Hands-on and step-by-step teaching enhances the learning process so you can fully absorb one concept before moving on to another. The final goal is to teach you how to “previsualize an image” so you can become a more creative and artistic photographer.
Since 2011 she has taught over 1,000 students how to use their digital SLR camera. For more information on photography classes visit the Studio 2.8 website.
