I recently spent an entire afternoon rummaging through old photos. Luckily for me I have actual photographs from when by kids were growing up. I found the photo below of me and my daughter. It was taken in 1994. This was only the beginning. I found old photos of me with my son and more with my daughter.
I am so proud of my children and the fine adults they have become. Sure, I miss them, but I can reminisce every day with my photos. Although I was usually the family photographer, I would always have professional portraits done at least once a year. My photos mean more to me than anything.
Introducing Celebrate Mothers Project – The mother and child project to make sure you aren’t an invisible part of their childhood.
the Mother’s Day project to make sure YOU aren’t an invisible part of their childhood.
When is it?
Mothers are too important to have just one day reserved for them, so we will be Celebrating Mothers the entire MONTH OF MAY. We are open 5 days a week (closed Sunday and Monday), so you tell us when it is convenient for you from May 1 – May 31.
What is it?
Celebrate Mother’s creates beautiful artwork of a busy mom and her children, so she can look back when her children have grown and not regret that she was always behind the camera.
The imagery is mixed with her hand-written words answering, “what do you want to remember most about your children at the age they are right now?” And the words or drawings of her children answering, “what do you love most about your mom?

* $97 (or $127) is the session retainer.
* Portrait credit must be used within 3 days of the online gallery of images going online. After that time, the credit will be forfeited.
Reserve your session at this link. You will need to fill out the “day/time” in the empty box, and check out with Paypal.
We will send out detailed instructions on how to dress after you book your session! We will talk about why you SHOULDN’T “matchy-match” perfectly, and instead, how to balance a color palette of multiple colors and patterns to look great together.
It is a collage of you and your child/children’s answers from the session. We send you the questionnaire in advance and ask that you bring it in at your session. We scan the documents and put them in a collage with our favorite image from the session. This 8×10 is heartwarming, and really what the session is all about!
The day after your session, we will place 8 images from your session online. We will notify you through email, and you will have three days to use your print credit and order your images.
We recommend arriving 10-15 minutes before your scheduled session time. Because we are on such a tight schedule, anyone arriving more than 5 minutes late for their session will forfeit their session retainer.
Because we have such a limited time frame for these portraits, the session retainer is non-refundable. If we have more available dates specific to the Celebrate Mother’s sessions, we can reschedule as long as you give us at least 48 hours notice. No-shows forfeit the entire session retainer. Anybody more than 5 minutes late for their session will forfeit their session retainer.
Absolutely! Just go through the checkout process and book at this link, using your own information. After you successfully purchase the session, pop me an email at email@example.com letting me know you are using this as a gift. At that point I’ll mail you a certificate you can give as a gift.
You sure can, however, any group with more than 4 people need to purchase two back-to-back sessions. A larger group will take longer to photograph, to fill out the question and answer form, etc. You will get the complete benefit of two sessions (double the product credit and two identical word and image collages)
You can order a separate session for your husband or partner or you can email or call us about a traditional portrait session if you would like a complete set of family portraits with your husband or partner. These sessions also include portraits of your children together, individuals of your children, and you and your partner.
