- Mobile websites
In 2010 I decided to go back to college to learn something new. It wasn’t that I didn’t like portrait photography, I just did not want all my eggs in one basket. I decided to go to a local technical college to learn web design and development. The program was suppose to be a two year program, but ended up taking me four years. I am pictured with my daughter, Brittany, because I started college when she did and we ended up graduating 1 week apart. After a year of being out of school, I decided to add a new division to my business, Lightscapes Design Services, so I could design mobile friendly websites. Below is some more information on this new service.
A Mobile Website App has the same functionality of a website but is more affordable with monthly payments instead of one large upfront fee. It can be viewed on all devices and has the added benefit of having a home screen icon with is perfect for staying in front of customers or for referrals. Photos and videos can easily be added to the website app. It can even collect mail addresses. One thumb scroll to view all pages is simple and makes multi-tasking easy.
On April 21, 2015 Google started penalizing sites that are not mobile friendly. A Website App is the perfect solution for someone who has an outdated site or no site at all. You can’t beat the monthly payments and the price is substantially less than a website. I also offer photography and video to enhance the site. Learn more here.
Did you know that more than half of local Google searches are done on a mobile device? You only have one chance to make a good first impression. When you are ready to stop losing business to your competition and start growing your business with a better brand online, we can help.
Mobile is not just a fad. Your customers want to find you using their phones but they give up quickly when a website takes too long to load or is hard to read. We help small businesses make a better first impression online and on mobile devices, with custom mobile website apps.
I am really excited about my new venture.
